From your vault settings, tap "Invite" and enter their email or phone number. They'll get a private link — no app needed to start.

Yes. You can mark members as Editors (can contribute and organize), Listeners (read-only), or Askers (can send prompts but not see other people's stories).

The vault and every story stays — forever. The family member you've designated as Keeper inherits administrative access. Nothing is lost.

Cancel anytime — you'll keep full access until the end of your current billing period. Where you cancel depends on where you signed up:

• iPhone or iPad: Open Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions, tap LifeScribe, then Cancel Subscription. (Apple manages all App Store subscriptions.)

• Apple App Store (iPhone/iPad): All iOS refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and select "Request a refund." Apple typically responds within 24–48 hours. If you'd like us to advocate on your behalf, email support@trylifescribe.com.
• Google Play (Android): Within 48 hours of purchase, request an automatic refund from the Play Store. After 48 hours, contact us at support@trylifescribe.com and we'll work with Google to resolve your request.

Yes. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) at the then-current price, charged to the same payment method you signed up with. Turn off auto-renew anytime in your App Store, Google Play, or Account → Billing settings — at least 24 hours before your renewal date — and you'll keep full access until the period ends.

Yes. Your Chapters and recordings are encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). We never sell, share, or train public AI models on your stories. Only you and the family members you choose to invite can see your Life Book.

From any Chapter, tap Export to download a beautifully typeset PDF. From your dashboard, you can export your entire Life Book — every Chapter, with illustrations and chapter art — as a single PDF in one click. Voice-narrated Chapters can also be played back from the in-app player.
